Call for Art - 2026 Spring Artwalk Poster Competition
The Downtown Lewiston Artwalk is excited to announce a Call for Art for the first-ever Spring Artwalk, taking place May 1-2, 2026.
The Artwalk committee seeks original artwork inspired by the beauty of spring in the Lewis-Clark Valley, featuring iconic local blooms such as Syringa and Dogwood.
Artists working in all media are encouraged to apply.
This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your work, connect with the community, and be part of a vibrant seasonal celebration of art.
Featured Artist Opportunity
One artwork will be selected to be included in the Official Spring Artwalk Poster Design. Image will be used in full or in part in the promotional materials for the event.
The selected artist will receive:
$200 cash prize
Community-wide visibility and recognition
The original artwork will be featured during the event.
All original art submissions will be exhibited during Artwalk weekend.
People’s Choice Awards will take place during the event:
1st Place: $100 cash prize
2nd Place: $50 cash prize
3rd Place: $25 cash prize
Note: The Poster Challenge winner is ineligible to win a People’s Choice Award.
High-resolution JPG or PDF (300 dpi) 1 MB minimum
No AI-generated work or copyrighted material will be accepted
Deadlines:
Digital Artwork Submission: Friday, March 27, 2026 by 6 PM
Physical Artwork Submission: Work must be dropped off at Lucidity Gallery (800 Main St.) no later than Friday, March 27, 2026 by 6 PM.
Artwork Specifications:
Open to all mediums
No AI-generated work or copyrighted material will be accepted
Original Art: Maximum size: 22" x 38"
Physical Artwork must be display-ready when turned in for exhibition
Digital Submission: High-resolution JPG or PDF (300 dpi) 1 MB minimum

All submitted works will be exhibited during the Spring Artwalk. Original artwork selected for exhibition must be delivered to:
