Fall Poster Competition is Now Open!
Calling all artists!
Submit your original artwork for a chance to become the official poster artist for the 2026 Fall Downtown Lewiston ArtWalk. The selected design will be featured on event posters, promotional materials, social media, and more.
Submission Deadline: August 28, 2026
Featured Artist Prize: $200 cash prize, community-wide recognition, and your artwork featured in 2026 Fall ArtWalk promotional materials.
All submitted artwork will be exhibited during Fall ArtWalk weekend and will be eligible for the People's Choice Awards:
1st Place: $100
2nd Place: $50
3rd Place: $25
Please note: The selected Poster Competition winner is not eligible to receive a People's Choice Award.

THANK YOU for making the first-ever Spring Downtown Lewiston Artwalk a HUGE success!
SAVE THE DATE for Fall Downtown Lewiston Artwalk, taking place First Friday, October 2 (5:00-9:00 p.m.) and Saturday, October 3 (11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.), in the heart of downtown Lewiston.
This free, community-driven event is put on for the community, by the community. Together, we will celebrate art, culture, and local businesses with two distinct experiences:
Friday Evening - First Friday Celebration
A lively kickoff featuring artist and business pairings, live music, and vibrant downtown energy.
Saturday - Family Day
A daytime, family-friendly experience with performances, interactive art activities, demonstrations, and creative competitions.
We invite you to participate. Sign up for our mailing list to stay informed and to receive registration information as soon as it is available.
ARTISTS
Visual artists of all mediums are invited to showcase their work inside downtown businesses transformed into pop-up gallery spaces for the weekend.
PERFORMERS
Musicians, dancers, spoken word artists, and performers of all kinds are encouraged to get involved. You are welcome to coordinate directly with a downtown business to arrange your performance, or the Artwalk Committee can assist in pairing you with a participating host location.
BUSINESSES
Open your doors and be part of the experience. Participating businesses serve as gallery and performance hosts, welcoming new visitors and increasing foot traffic throughout the event.
SPONSORS
This event is entirely community-supported. Sponsorships directly fund a free public event that brings hundreds of residents and visitors into downtown. Multiple sponsorship levels will be available, with recognition throughout event promotions and activities.
This event belongs to the community and only happens because people like you choose to participate. We hope you’ll join us in making this Fall Artwalk something truly special. We look forward to seeing you in October!
